Broadway Hearts Backstage

Broadway Hearts Backstage: The Ultimate Broadway Experience!

At Broadway Hearts, we understand the profound impact that live theater can have on a person’s life, and we’re thrilled to share that magic with kids in treatment who have been medically cleared to join us at the theater.

Our Broadway Hearts Backstage program offers unforgettable Broadway experiences and are individually curated for each child in treatment and their family!

Broadway Hearts Backstage experiences include tickets to see a favorite Broadway show — whether in the heart of New York City, with one of our wonderful National Broadway Tours a little closer to home, or at one of our extraordinary partner theaters right in your community!

Broadway Hearts Backstage experiences might also include:

  • Pre-show meal at one of our amazing partner restaurants

  • Show memorabilia

  • Meet, have photos taken and get autographs with cast members (stars!) after the show

  • The exclusive opportunity to go backstage and meet Broadway stars

Our goal is to create lasting, uplifting memories that these incredible kids and their families can carry with them through whatever challenges lie ahead.

  • Who is eligible?

-Children ages 4-18 in active treatment or

-Children who have had a critical, life threatening or chronic illness and have completed treatment within the last 12 months

  • If your child has completed treatment between 1 and 3 years ago, they may be eligible for an alternative local experience.

Please reach out if you have any questions about eligibility within either category. We understand that every child and family is unique, and we do our best to accommodate whenever possible.

All applications are thoughtfully reviewed to ensure that we can safely and appropriately meet the needs of each family, as well as those of our Broadway partners. This helps us create a meaningful and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

I got to talk to them about the show and interests I shared with them … that night was simply unforgettable. If every kid gets the experience I had, then you will have created memories to last a lifetime.’ - Shuli Balfour
